Ellis, Bert
Chapel services were held today at the Caldwell Funeral Home in Flat River for 
Bert Ernest Ellis, 85, of Flat River.  He was born June 22, 1894 in Madison County 
and died November 17, 1979 at the Farmington Community hospital.  

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Aubuchon) Ellis of Flat River; one son, Ernest Ellis, 
Festus; two daughters, Helen (Mrs. Vernon) Montgomery of Farmington, and Virginia 
(Mrs. James) Sherrill, Middlebury, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-
grandchildren.  

Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Caldwell Funeral 
Home of Flat River.
