Earl Blaylock Diedon Friday, August 21, 2009 at the age of 82, surrounded by his family. Loving Husband of 63 years, Best Friend, and High School Sweetheart of Jean Blaylock; Brother of (the late John) Naslund, the late Bob (Willie) Blaylock, Albert (Betty) Blaylock, and Jane (Elmer) Burgess; The best “Pop” to Pam (Don Nagle) Henson, Douglas (Jan Hake) Blaylock, and Richard (the late Barb) Blaylock; Cherished Grandfather to Jeremy Henson, Daniel Blaylock, Timothy (Jamie) Blaylock, and Kristen Hake; Dear Great Grandfather to Angelina, Jacob, and Isabella; Treasured Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, and Great Friend to many. He arrived into this world on June 10, 1927 to the late Stella and Timothy Blaylock in Coldwater, MO. Graduating from Mine la Motte High School in 1945, he was immediately drafted into the Navy and immediately drafted into the Navy and served until the end of World War II in 1946. A computer programmer and system analyst when the computer took up a whole room, Earl enjoyed many years of retirement from his work at the Personal Records Center on Page. He was an avid bowler until 2 years ago when his health would not allow him the pleasure. He also enjoyed golfing during his retirement years. He will be greatly missed by all.
