John Belken John Belken, 90, of Farmington and Libertyville died October 20, 2003 at his home in Libertyville. He was born September 9, 1913, a son of Albert and Clara (O'Bannon) Belken. Mr. Belken was preceded in death by one son, John Robert Jr.; three brothers and one sister. On April 16, 1937 he was married to Anna Marie Hale in Festus. She survives in Libertyville. Others surviving Mr. Belken are a son, Charles Belken of Libertyville; and two daughters, Phyllis Hunt of Alexandria, Louisiana and Clara Miller of Knob Lick. Mr. Belken had nine grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Mr. Belken was a graduate of Fredericktown High School. He had worked for St. Joe Lead Company in Park Hills until his retirement in 1971. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fredericktown, 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a farmer. Mass was held October 23, 2003 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Monsignor Bill Stanton officiating. Burial was at St. Michael's Cemetery in Fredericktown. Pallbearers were: Hubert Wilkerson, Kent Wilkerson, Mike Belken, Tim Belken, Mark Belken and David Davis. Funeral arrangements made under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
