The report reached here last Friday of the death, at Fredericktown, Mo., of Louis H. ALFORD, 
a former resident of this county.  He was born and raised in this county, but for the past few 
years has been a resident of Madison County, where he filled the position of Probate Judge 
for one term.  He leaves a wife but no children.
